Timeline & RSVP FAQs

For a local wedding, formal invitations should be sent exactly 49 days (7 weeks) before the wedding. For destination weddings, you should mail them 84 days (12 weeks) in advance to give guests ample time to book travel.

Your RSVP cutoff should be 2 to 4 weeks before the wedding. Our calculator sets it at 28 days for local weddings and 49 days for destination weddings. This gives you enough time to provide a final headcount to your caterer and create your seating chart.

Yes! Simply toggle the "Destination Wedding" button. The calculator will automatically adjust your Save-the-Date timeline to 270 days out, giving your guests 9 months to arrange flights and accommodations.
